Line
One day in March, Line contacted me through Twitter, she needed some portraits of herself for her website. She is an independent, owner of Brødtektst working with digital communication and text. Her office is in the Soho offices (a big and very cool office property located in the meatpacking district Kødbyen, in Copenhagen). We thought it would be the perfect location for the shoot and so after a coffee, a chat and a little tour through the very cool and interesting offices, we started ..

Since the photos she needed was about her and not so much about the cool offices, we went outside and used the natural light and atmosphere Kødbyen had to offer ..

Line was so sweet and natural, and I love her dress!! The dress is from Ecouture.
Tanja lives in Christiania. Copenhagen, Denmark.
One sunny morning I was walking around Christiania with my friend Lisa. Christiania is a self-proclaimed autonomous neighbourhood of about 850 residents. It’s a small area within Copenhagen that proclaimed its independence from the state in 1971, and an intriguing place to visit and experience. I love walking around this area, looking at the fun, creative houses the residents have built themselves. In one of these houses, more an old caravan in fact, lives Tanja and her boyfriend. Tanja is a super friendly and very interesting girl. She is a roller skater/belly dancer, and she has lived in Christiania for the past four years. She is always smiling and welcoming, and she has tons of interesting life stories to tell. That morning, I took some pictures of her and her caravan, so you can get a feeling of how it looks like .. Hope you like it as much as I do!

Sneak peek .. Becky & Ernie all the way from Hong Kong ..
Today I finally met Becky and Ernie, a super cute couple from Hong Kong. They had contacted me last year, while they where planing their trip to Scandinavia and asked me to do their pre-wedding shoot while they were in Denmark. We have been mailing back and forth to plan our shoot, and so today was the day. While biking towards their hotel this morning, I started to get a bit nervous, but as soon as I met them I felt really relaxed and confident. This was going to be a good day!
Wedding in Spain – Maria Esteve Flores
Last year I received a mail from an old school friend. She was going to get married, and she was so happy and excited about her engagement. She wanted to keep it a secret so she couldn’t share it with many people. Maria is a well known Spanish actress and therefore she wanted to keep her wedding between her closest family and friends. She asked me if I could come to Spain for her wedding, as her wedding photographer and guest. I gladly accepted! Not before now she has shown any of her wedding pictures so she could keep things quiet, and out of the press. The picture above is the only picture she has shown so far and therefore I can show it too! I am glad that I can now share this picture with the rest of you because even though all my weddings are special, I can say with certainty that Maria’s wedding was one of the most wonderful and loving weddings I have been to ever. I am so grateful I was given this opportunity to be part of it! Thank you so much for such a wonderful memory.
Majken & Jakob’s wedding.
October last year Majken and Jakob got married. You probably remember them from the pre-wedding shoot I took of them and some sneak peek I have posted once in a while of their wedding. It is no secret that I love this couple, from the minute I met them I admired them and by just talking to them a couple of minutes I was dying to take their pictures. What I particularly loved about this wedding, is that they had kept it very personal and had sticked to their own style 100%, often couples gets carried away by their families and friends expectations, but Majken and Jakob did it exactly their own way, and so it became a very unique wedding.

Morocco. A little (10 hours) car trip from Fez to Marrakech.
People who know me knows that I travel quite often. I very rarely show my travel pictures, mainly because I actually don’t take that many that I think it is worth sharing. In fact, I am not particularly good at taking pictures when I travel and I think it is because I am mainly interested in taking portraits and I am way too shy to ask strangers if I can take their picture .. also, if or when I do, I am so nervous about taking too long that I just snap one or two as quickly as possible and then they often don’t turn out as good as I had hoped for. Another reason is because I feel a bit of pressure being a profesional photographer, everyone expect that all the pictures you take no matter when or of what that they should be REALLY good .. or maybe is just me who thinks that!
Anyway, I will try and change this and start showing a bit more my travel pictures. Maybe I should show them on another blog, to not mix it with my professional work. Let me know what you think, should I just show them here or would that be mixing too much of my private stuff with my profesional work??
Right now I am in Morocco, working for NSRC documenting bits and pieces of their workshops (you can see the pictures on flickr). After a week working in Fez, we headed towards Marrakech by car. This was a wonderful trip, we hadn’t had much time seing anything in Fez besides the University where the work was being done, and the Medina when having dinner. The car trip took about 10 hours, with a few stops and a lunch break. I have been to Morocco a few times before, but this car trip was pure pleasure for the eye .. I think I felt in love with Morocco.

Lorenza
It was a very cold Saturday morning when I met Lorenza for a shoot. The town was still half sleeping and the people on the street was mainly families going for their morning coffee. So did we, a coffee and a tea was perfect to start with. Lorenza had contacted me to take a photo series of her in one of her favourit places in Copenhagen. This being Istedgade, Copenhagen. Even though it was very very cold, we where saved by all the nice coffee shops in the area .. So it was a super cosy and fun shoot, with lots of good coffee and photogenic places .. So before we knew it, the time had passed so quickly and we had to go ..

If you had to choose a nice location where would that be??? I am very curious to hear all your ideas ..
Sneak peek .. Line
This monday I had the pleasure of photographing Line ..
